Hotel Henri IV Rive Gauche - Paris

Magnificent view from the room, the location is excellent, the staff is cordial, responsive and sociable.

The pillows are very hard.

Beautiful, quiet and cosy little hotel in the heart of Paris, a few metres from Notre Dame, a privileged location for walking to many places of interest, and right in front of the old church of Saint Severin. Excellent staff and comfortable but small rooms (something normal in Paris), double room overlooking the courtyard, perhaps not the most beautiful but it is super quiet this way and wonderful to rest. Of course I will recommend it. There would only be a few kettles or teapots missing from the rooms to make it perfect.

There is not much to criticize about this hotel...everything is perfect, the situation, the comfort of the rooms and facilities despite being small rooms, there is enough space for two people and to store all the luggage. Perhaps to put a "but", the bathtub somewhat uncomfortable to leave and enter for a person with some physical impediment.

We booked a double room, it was stunning with great design. The food at the continental breakfast was appetising. The service here was exceptional.

The lobby and our room were fresh, clean and nicely furnished. Our bathroom was spacious and functional.The view from both windows was beautiful (Eiffel Tower at distance and part of Notre Dame) -We had a room for 3 persons on the 6th floor.

Our beds were only 180cm long and I'm 175cm tall - at times my feet were hanging outside the bed. There would have been space for 200cm beds in the room.

It was small, quiet, nice place. We stayed at the third floor. Personal was friendly.

Breakfasts were really small but it's no problem to have a breakfast somewhere near the hotel..

I tried contacting customer support several times, but they left me on hold. The hotel was unresponsive, claiming the manager was on vacation. I lost nearly $1300 due to this, and it's disappointing the staff couldn't help me resolve it.

The location is great, friendly staff. Free wifi in entire hotel, luxurious look in the rooms.

Nice, well tasting breakfast but not really worth €12, it was of more value to have breakfast in nearby cafés for half the price.

The room went out to the yard. I'd like to go outside.

The location was ideal, just a short stroll to major attractions, and the king-size bed was comfortable. Rooms were clean and quiet. Finding a supermarket nearby was a bit challenging, and although staff was friendly, they could be more attentive during peak check-in times. The food delivery service was smooth.

Wonderful location. Helpful and polite members of staff. Beautifully decorated. Excellent driver in the shuttle service to the airport.

The windows are double glazed and very good at removing a lot of the noise from the busy street, however, if you sleep with the window open, I recommend that you ask for a courtyard room in advance.

The reception person that tried very hard to get us an airport shuttle to no avail.

The room was too small for any North American.

I had a fantastic stay! The comfortable bed and excellent shower made every morning enjoyable. Plus, the fresh croissants at breakfast were a real treat!
